Hi! I’m Gemma and I’ve owned The Jolly Vintner since 2016. I have over 15 years’ trade experience, living in Italy, France and the Maldives working with wine and absorbing wine culture.
I’m not just here to tell you about all the wines I love and answer your questions, I’m also here to pour you a glass and help you find the perfect pairing.
Whether you’re after a good old fashioned ‘quaffer’ or something rather special we’ve curated a selection of quality wines to be shared and enjoyed. Not forgetting our collection of local beers, ciders and spirits if you’re not so grape inclined.

Collin-Bourisset Chardonnay, France
New! Pale golden fruit with citrus hints. Full, soft and elegant.
Collin-Bourisset Pinot Noir, France
New! Red berry fruits and a touch of spice. Complex and elegant.
Black Tip Mourvedre, South Africa
Gorgeous black fruit, smoky oak and a touch of leather. Silky smooth.
You are also welcome to select any bottle from the shop to drink in with a £10 corkage fee.
