Hi! I’m Gemma and I’ve owned The Jolly Vintner since 2016. I have over 15 years’ trade experience, living in Italy, France and the Maldives working with wine and absorbing wine culture.
I’m not just here to tell you about all the wines I love and answer your questions, I’m also here to pour you a glass and help you find the perfect pairing.
Whether you’re after a good old fashioned ‘quaffer’ or something rather special we’ve curated a selection of quality wines to be shared and enjoyed. Not forgetting our collection of local beers, ciders and spirits if you’re not so grape inclined.

Monopole Rioja Blanco, Spain
Clean, precise white with classic fruit and florals.
Hen & Chickens Chardonnay, Australia
Creamy texture backed up by great freshness.
Arboleda Carmenère, Chile
Black fruit, sweet spice & coffee with a herbal lift and strong finish.
San Teodoro Etna Rosso, Italy
From Sicily's Nerello Mascalese grape, this balances red fruit with spice and volcanic minerality.
You are also welcome to select any bottle from the shop to drink in with a £10 corkage fee.
