Hi! I’m Gemma and I’ve owned The Jolly Vintner since 2016. I have over 15 years’ trade experience, living in Italy, France and the Maldives working with wine and absorbing wine culture.
I’m not just here to tell you about all the wines I love and answer your questions, I’m also here to pour you a glass and help you find the perfect pairing.
Whether you’re after a good old fashioned ‘quaffer’ or something rather special we’ve curated a selection of quality wines to be shared and enjoyed. Not forgetting our collection of local beers, ciders and spirits if you’re not so grape inclined.

A firm french favourite. Fabulous with fish and seafood!
Yelland & Papps Blanc, Australia
Delicate stone fruit, citrus & leafy florals. Lovely texture & creaminess while still fresh & elegant.
Radica Montepulciano, Italy
Red cherry fruit, vanilla, spice & all things nice!
Arboleda Carmenere, Chile
Black fruit, spice & sweet coffee with a herbal lift & strong finish.
You are also welcome to select any bottle from the shop to drink in with a £10 corkage fee.
